The Viewing Room is a venture of Capital Art Advisory Pvt. Ltd. The Board of the Company consists of Mr. Dilip Jhangiani, Mr. Soli Cooper and Mr. Rajiv Savara who are all avid art collectors and share a passion to promote the cause of Indian art. The gallery is professionally managed by a team headed by Ms. Niyatee Shinde, assisted by Mr. Qaroon Thapar (q@theviewingroom.in) who has studied Art Business from the Sotheby's Institute of Art, London. and Ms. Shaila Gonsalves(shyla23@gmail.com) who has work experience in the Art World for the last three years. Ms. Sherry Jhangiani is the Admin Head.

Mr. Dilip Jhangiani - Director
Mr. Jhangiani qualified as a Chartered Accountant and Advocate and is senior partner of a law firm in India having offices in Mumbai and Delhi. He advises several Corporates and Multinationals. Mr Jhangiani is also a Director of Equest India Pvt. Ltd., Equest Capital Advisers Pvt. Ltd., Equest Art Corporation, Essuply Ltd and several other companies. Mr. Jhangiani has an impressive art collection.

Mr. Soli Cooper - Director
Mr. Cooper is an Advocate practicing in the field of Commercial Litigation and Corporate Law. After completing his LL.M. from Harvard University, he has practiced primarily in the Supreme Court of India and the Bombay High Court. He is, the Chairman of G Corp Realty Pvt. Ltd., a real estate development company, Director of several other companies and Trustee of Public Charitable Trusts. He is a passionate collector of Indian art having built a collection over the last 10 years. He is a Director of Equest Capital Advisers Pvt. Ltd., a company which has successfully run a close ended Art Fund over the last two years.

Mrs. Niyatee Shinde - Curator
Niyatee Shinde has nearly three decades of experience in the art world. For many years she was writer on art and photography initially at the Times of India and later the Indian Express. She is the founder editor of the Times Journal of Photography, TOI Group. While at the Birla Academy (as Director & Curator for 10 years) she conceptualized and organized several important exhibitions as well as participated in important art seminars and conferences.

Her experiences in the art world firstly as an artist's wife, then as an art critic and reviewer with major publications followed as the Director at the Birla Academy have fostered strong ties with well known artists and collectors. Niyatee Shinde is also a photo-historian.
